Field Trips

Our mission at Kuipers Family Farm is to connect people with agriculture and each other. 

One of our favorite ways to do this is by welcoming schools and groups to the farm where they can experience hands-on learning and fun. Choose one of our educational and fun options!

Booking Information & Policies
A $200 deposit is required to hold your reservation.
Once you arrive for your tour, provide us with your final guest count.
We will charge the balance to the card you provided for the deposit.
We require you collect all funds from your students/chaperones and provide us with one payment. Credit card or school check only. No refund will be provided for overpayment with school check. 
Deposits will be refunded if the field trip is cancelled no less than 14 days prior to the reserved date or if weather conditions require cancellation.

Orchard Educational Tour

Our Orchard Educational Tour is fully guided by our knowledgeable team and includes pre and post-tour lesson plans for teachers and will focus on how apples are grown, picked, and pressed into apple cider.

Tour Details

  • Discuss how apples grow
  • Visit the Bee Barn observation hive
  • Learn about cider pressing
  • Sample different apple varieties
  • Go on a wagon ride through the orchard
  • Receive a Kuipers bookmark 
  • Take home a donut, an apple, and sample of apple cider
  • Picnic Area available on first come-first serve basis
  • Children may not pick apples from trees while touring through Orchard

Pumpkin FunFarm Activity

Our Pumpkin FunFarm Activity invites groups into our Pumpkin FunFarm where they can explore and enjoy dozens of fun outdoor 
activities at their own pace.

Tour Details

  • Receive a Kuipers bookmark
  • Take home pumpkin can be added for additional fee 
  • Picnic Area available on first come-first serve basis
